Cristian A. Linte

Cristian A. Linte (clinte@mail.rit.edu) is an assistant professor in the Biomedical Engineering ­Program in the Kate Gleason College of Engineering at Rochester Institute of Technology and also holds an adjunct assistant professor appointment in biomedical engineering at the Mayo Clinic. He is currently the IEEE EMBS Education Committee chair and also served as chair of the Southern Minnesota IEEE EMBS Chapter in 2013. He has been a Member of the IEEE and EMBS since 2006 and serves as an associate editor of IET Healthcare Technology Letters Journal.

The inaugural IEEE EMBS International Summer School on Neural Engineering (ISSNE) was held in at the Shanghai Jiao Tong University in Shanghai, China on 7-14 July 2013. ISSNE’13 is the fifth summer school hosted by IEEE EMBS and featured biannually. This first edition was locally organized by the IEEE EMBS Shanghai Chapter and the Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and was co-sponsored by IEEE EMBS, Ministry of Education of China, Shanghai Municipal Education Committee, and Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
